Friends Martin and Vlado founded a craft winery in 2009, focusing on producing wines from vineyards located in a volcanic area that imparts a unique character to their wines. The production reflects, among other things, the rich mineral and nutrient-dense soil of the region.

Ján lives in the charming old village of Brhlovce, where the houses are framed by limestone cliffs which have provided shelter for centuries. There, he produces craft wines from the same volcanic area as Martin and Vlado. His winery bridges the past and present, helping to preserve the nearly forgotten communities that once thrived in Slovakia’s rural countryside.
